Build something playable

Craftly lets you build a Minecraft plot and give it behavior with physical codeblocks. You can start with a welcome message, then add scores, rounds, custom items, reusable methods, and your own classes.

These docs cover the features available to ordinary players and plot creators. Some tools require ownership of your plot or access granted by its owner; each guide explains that requirement.

  1. Find your way around and create a plot.
  2. Learn Build, Dev, and Play.
  3. Make your first interaction.
  4. Understand the editor and variables.
  5. Use expressions to calculate values and insert them into messages.
  6. Progress to methods and classes.

The reference lists operations, conditions, events, game values, types, commands, and settings. Search by the full in-game label or operation identifier. Reference pages describe current behavior; examples show editor configurations rather than text you paste into a programming console.

Event: Player Join
Call Method → Event Target → Send Message
Message: "Welcome to my plot!"

Each indented line is a block or an input on a block. Place and configure it in Dev mode. Quotation marks around a displayed String usually distinguish it from a menu label; enter the contents without those outer quotes. Expressions inside a String remain part of its contents.
