Build and Dev collaborators

The owner manages access to the current plot. Players must have joined the server at least once so Craftly knows their profile. Grants work while those players are offline.

/plot permissions Alex dev deny

Build permits world editing in Build mode. Dev permits programming and includes Build. For example, granting Alex Dev lets Alex enter both modes. Denying only Build does not remove Build access inherited from Dev; revoke Dev as well to remove that effective access.

Collaborator access does not transfer ownership. Plot metadata, settings, and delegation remain owner-managed. A collaborator still follows the normal Play protections when playing.

Only one developer can edit a codeblock at a time. Closing its editor releases the editing session. Permissions are rechecked when changes are saved, and moving/removing a block invalidates its open editor.

Removing effective access moves a player out of the affected mode immediately. Before revoking access during a collaboration, finish coordinated edits and compile a known working draft.

An unknown player name usually means they have not joined before. An editor that suddenly closes may have lost access, its block, or its exclusive editing session. A player who still has Build access after a denial may be inheriting it from Dev.
