Remove Dictionary Entry

Removes a key, optionally only when its current value matches one of the supplied expected values. The optional plural group is not a new key list.

Set Variable → Operations → Choose Operation → Dictionary. Requires Dev access to configure, then a successful compile to activate.

Input Type Role Requirement Default / constraint
Dictionary Dictionary<K,V> Variable binding Required Required
Key Compatible declared type Value Required Required
Expected Values Compatible declared type Value Optional; ordered plural group Omitted; see behavior below

Stores the result in the first configured destination Variable. Its type must match the result and any generic element/key types.

Block: Set Variable → Operations
Operation: Remove Dictionary Entry
Dictionary: Private Dictionary<K,V> result
Key: Number 1 (match the destination/element type)
Expected Values: (omit for this example)

Use this as an editor configuration: declare any Variables/collections first and choose real locations/eligible targets for your plot. It is not pasteable source code.

Initialize the collection first. Element/key/value declarations are invariant. Reference inputs share mutable contents; choose a copy mode when isolation is required. List indices begin at 1; unsuccessful index searches return 0.

Runtime validation: Dictionary sorting requires non-null Number or String keys/values.

Reference identifier: dictionary.remove.
