Set to Bitwise Operation
Use Set to Bitwise Operation with the ordered inputs below.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Set Variable → Operations → Choose Operation → Number. Requires Dev access to configure, then a successful compile to activate.
Inputs
Section titled “Inputs”| Input | Type | Role | Requirement | Default / constraint |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Result | Number | Variable binding | Required | Required |
| Left | Number | Value | Required | Required |
| Right | Number | Value | Required | Required |
Options and tags
Section titled “Options and tags”| Option | Default | Choices |
|---|---|---|
| Operation | AND | AND, OR, XOR, NOT, Left Shift, Right Shift |
These choices belong to the operation configuration, not additional positional arguments.
Result and behavior
Section titled “Result and behavior”Operands are floored and bounded to ±9,007,199,254,740,991 before integer bit operations. Shift counts must be 0–63. NOT uses the left operand; the declared right input still follows normal input validation.
Stores the result in the first configured destination Variable. Its type must match the result and any generic element/key types.
Configuration example
Section titled “Configuration example”Block: Set Variable → OperationsOperation: Set to Bitwise OperationResult: Private Number resultLeft: 1Right: 1Use this as an editor configuration: declare any Variables/collections first and choose real locations/eligible targets for your plot. It is not pasteable source code.
Restrictions and troubleshooting
Section titled “Restrictions and troubleshooting”Numeric inputs/results must remain finite. Integral fields floor before bounds checks. Invalid arithmetic fails before assignment.
