Convert JSON to Value

Decodes JSON into the configured destination type. The destination declaration determines the expected shape/type.

Where to find it

Set Variable → Operations → Choose Operation → Variables. Requires Dev access to configure, then a successful compile to activate.

Result and behavior

Stores the result in the first configured destination Variable. Its type must match the result and any generic element/key types.

Configuration example

Block: Set Variable → Operations
Operation: Convert JSON to Value
Result: Private Compatible declared type result
JSON: 10

Use this as an editor configuration: declare any Variables/collections first and choose real locations/eligible targets for your plot. It is not pasteable source code.

Restrictions and troubleshooting

Required inputs must be assigned and type-compatible. Operation work remains subject to the plot’s runtime limits.
