Target: Interaction
A typed native entity receiver for Interaction. Select Target → Interaction in the searchable Variable type picker. This is a reference to an entity, not an operation that spawns one.
Operations and inheritance
Section titled “Operations and inheritance”Call Method/If filters choices by the declared native capability. Common Entity actions are inherited; additional Living Entity, Player, display, projectile, or species-specific choices appear only when the type supports them. Start with the operation index and choose a compatible receiver in-game.
Example
Section titled “Example”Declare a Private Target Interaction Variable named subject, assign a compatible event/native target, then select subject as Call Method’s Target Object. Use Set Name to test an eligible entity in Play; player/private/protected contexts remain checked.
Validity and copying
Section titled “Validity and copying”A Target retains UUID identity across input copying. It does not clone the entity. Runtime-owned entities can disappear during cleanup, and saved references do not prevent removal. A broader declared Entity type does not expose every subtype-specific operation.
Type identifier: interaction.
